LETTER FROM KLL PRESIDENT

May 20, 2020

Hello Kerrisdale Little League Families,

Thank you for your patience during this uncertain time.

The KLL Board has been paying close attention to the direction from our Provincial government and health officials as it pertains to a potential re-opening of youth sports. With each passing day, it is becoming evident that a return to “normal” is going to take longer than the timeline that would allow us to return to the baseball field for our Spring season.

Kerrisdale Little League has made the decision to formally cancel the 2020 Spring Season. This was not a decision that was hastily made. In the absence of any yet to be established return to play protocols, we believe this is the best path forward and in the best interests of our players, their families and our broader community.

All registration fees will be refunded, and we will not be charging any administrative fees. The league has incurred some costs associated with preparing for the season that will not be recoverable. If you are interested in supporting our league by donating all or part of your registration fees, please let us know no later than May 27th by emailing treasurer@kerrisdalebaseball.com.

Refunds will be returned to the credit card used in the registration process starting May 28. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Your KLL Board will be closely monitoring the information coming from our health authorities and governing sports bodies in the coming weeks. Should there be an opportunity to return to the field for baseball in any form, including skills development, we will communicate with our player families as soon as possible.

Best Regards,

Eric Gold

President

Kerrisdale Little League
