In most sports, including baseball, there is a risk of injury. Reporting the injury helps KLL identify whether there needs to be changes to how we coach/manage our players and fields.

Injuries to report can vary in severity. These can include but not limited to abrasions/cuts requiring attention, hit with a ball causing bruising or pain, concussion, major head injury, fractures. If in doubt, you can always report the injury.

Coaches are to report injuries using the KLL Incident Report Form. If a parent/caregiver is unsure if the injury has been reported or if the player didn’t report it to the coach right away, they are encouraged to report the injury using the same form.
