The All Stars and Selects are competitive post season tournament teams that are formed at the conclusion of the KLL regular season.

To be eligible to play on All-Star and Selects teams, players must meet age requirements (detailed below by team). Please see details below for the various teams outlining eligibility, time commitments and schedules.

11/12 ALL-STARS

Players must be baseball age 11 or 12 (Little League Age Chart)

Practices and exhibition games will begin near when the regular season ends.

  • The team will compete in the District 1 Tournament with Jericho , Dunbar and Little Mountain.
  • The winner of the District Tournament will go on to play in the Provincial Championship.
  • The winner of the Provincial Championship will go on to play in the National Championship in August.

Players can expect to practice or play most days from mid June through to the end of tournament play, potentially into mid-end of July.  To be considered for this team, players should be available to practice and play from June until July 30 as player commitment will be expected. 11 SELECTS

Players must be baseball age 11 (Little League Age Chart)

Practices and exhibition games will begin shortly after regular season ends.  In the past, we have competed in a tournament hosted by Jericho Little League, Mount Seymour Little League and the Drew Henderson Tournament hosted by Whalley Little League.

Commitment is about 3-4 days per week through to the end of tournament play which could be as late as near the end of the third week in July.  This team has been known to continue playing through the summer with a looser commitment.

9/10 ALL-STARS

Players must be baseball age 9 or 10 (Little League Age Chart)

Practices and exhibition games will begin after the regular season ends on June 17th.

  • The team will compete in the District 1 Tournament with Jericho , Dunbar and Little Mountain.
  • The winner of the District Tournament will go on to play in the Provincial Championships.

Players can expect to practice or play most days from mid June through to the end of tournament play, potentially into the second week of July.  To be considered for this team, players should be available to practice and play from June until July 30 as player commitment will be expected. Players must be baseball age 9, players "baseball age" 8 may be considered. (Little League Age Chart)

Practices and exhibition games will begin shortly after the regular season ends on June 17th.  Players can expect to play in 3 tournaments. Commitment is about 3-4 days per week through to the end of tournament play in mid-July.  This team has been known to continue playing through the summer with a looser commitment.

8 SELECTS

Players must be baseball age 8 or younger (Little League Age Chart)

Team is chosen not by a formal tryout process but through coach recommendations and in season performance.  The team will play in the 8's Tournament hosted by KLL end of June, and the "Candy Cup" hosted by Mount Seymour Little League in early July and a few exhibitions between mid June and early July.

Format of play for this level is pitching machine.  Priority is given to players who are 8, but 7 year old players can be considered.

ALL-STAR AND SELECT TEAM FEES

Players that are placed on a team will be required to pay an additional fee.  These fees will be based on any additional costs for the team such as customized caps, jerseys, merchandise, umpires, tournament fees, etc.
