Major B - Ages 10-12

Major B Division

10 - 12 year olds

Major B is one of the top divisions in Kerrisdale Little League and is primarily made up of 10-12 year olds, although some highly skilled 9 year olds may be drafted onto teams based on their previous year's coach assessment and pre-season assessment scores.

Coaches draft players onto teams based on pre-season assessment scores; consequently there are no friendship requests. There are 11 - 12 players per team. Players registered in this division who are not drafted onto a Major B team (based on skill) will be drafted into Minor A.

Player Commitment

One to two games per week (5 innings approx. 1.5-2 hours in duration) - *currently not allowed according to provincial health order, additional practice instead
One practice per week (1.5 hours long)
Home games will be played at Elm Park.
Practices are held at Kerrisdale Park North.
This Division may play interlock games against other neighboring teams.
Scores are kept, standings maintained, and there are playoffs.

Parent Commitment

Each parent is required to help out with their child's game on a rotating basis. The duties include field set up/take down for the home team, score keeper, scoreboard and game coordinator.  Duties will be assigned by the team manager at the beginning of the season and training can be provided if required.  Your commitment is appreciated and helps make our league run more smoothly.
