Kerrisdale Little League
Dear KLL families,
The 2010 season has flown by, as it always seems to do in baseball, with so much going on in so little time! Thanks to all KLL families for a fantastic season (despite the drizzly weather) and it was great to see so many of you enjoying the sun and the festivities at our Closing Day on Saturday, not to mention the fantastic playoff final games that took place that day at many of our fields. Congratulations to all the players and coaches for a very successful season.
Now on: KLL is hosting the District One 9/10 All Stars tournament Elm Park from June 28 - July 11, 2010.
Wow! What a tournament it's been for the 9/10 All Stars! After almost 2 weeks of play and 12 tournament games between the 4 teams in our District 1 (Kerrisdale, Dunbar, Little Mountain and Jericho), we are now at a 4-way tie with 3 wins, 3 losses each. To break the tie, there will be a double-header on Saturday, July 10 and the final (between the two winners) will take place on Sunday, July 11 (game time TBA). For today, Saturday July 10, the schedule is a follows at Elm Park: 1. Kerrisdale vs. Dunbar 3:00 p.m. start 2. Little Mountain vs. Jericho 6:00 p.m start
For tomorrow, Sunday July 11, at Elm Park:
1. Final game between the winners of Saturday's 2 games.
We welcome you to come out and cheer on these teams--it's a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy great baseball, delicious food at our KLL concession, and a very fun community event. We hope to see you there! KLL
