Minor B Division

7 - 9 year olds

This division is for 7-9 year olds. This division uses a pitching machine only (no coach pitching). This version of baseball is the next step towards real baseball as the pitching machine is set at a higher velocity. The harder level 5 balls are used.  KLL will endeavour to accommodate friendship requests and each team will have 10 - 12 players.

Players born in 2008 will be required to attend KLL pre-season in January assessments for the possibility of being placed in the Minor A division. In the 2016 season, roughly 33% of players who were in Grade 3 during that season played in Minor A and 67% played in Minor B.  For the 2017 season, we anticipate a similar split for players born in 2008.  Our goal is to place players in the division where they can have fun and develop their skills.
